The mission of Sand Springs Schools is to empower every child to maximize their potential for responsible, productive citizenship in the 21st century. Sand Springs Schools is a progressive 6A suburban school district with approximately 5,200 students housed in one early childhood center, five elementary schools, one middle school (grade 6-8), a ninth-grade center, one high school, an alternative school (grade 9-12) and numerous virtual school offerings. The school district employees nearly 650 certified and support personnel. The district is proud of the success of our students in the classroom, in athletics and extracurricular activities, and as contributing members of our community. Sand Springs is a great place for children to grow and learn.
